Water issues in the apartment

Q: Hi, I am planning to rent an apartment in this society. One of my friends has told me that this locality is having major water issues. Is it true? Is it troubling the normal life in the apartment?

Hey Chetan, As of today there is no such issue in IDEB Springfields. The problem was resolved after the rainwater storage system was put in place but in case of less rainfall in the monsoon season, things may change for the worse. So a long term solution is still awaited but in the small to medium term, the problem is resolved. Hope that helps with your query.

Most new Townships are building rainwater storage capabilities according to government norms. This has eased the over dependence on groundwater, Even IDEB Springfields has its own groundwater storage system now so water shortage is not a massive issue anymore.

Yes the above member has hit the nail on its head. Over dependence on groundwater has been an issue with Sarjapur. In the long term the government may need to in act some string laws as with an increase in more real estate projects the water woes can increase.

Hi, good to know that you are planning to come and stay in IDEB Springfields. It is definitely one of the best housing societies in Sarjapur area. What your friend said would have been right a couple of years back but things have improved substantially. See the problem is over dependence on groundwater. In summers the groundwater gets depleted which leads to shortage.
