Hey nowadays police from palasia are combing this area at night to ensure the security of the residents in bengali square, so i dont think there will be any issue regarding security now and things will be under control.
In terms of security, I am not so sure about the Bengali Square. There have been some very serious incidents around this place like murders in this area, and the presence of some goons around this locality can be an issue at times.
Hey I have heard recently that there is going to be a flyover near the Bengali Square area. This project has been sanctioned around 33 crores and will be constructed by the IDA. This will decrease the hassle of traffic for residents.
Hey there are sewage disposal and leaking drain problems here in Bengali Square. Every monsoon, the water gets logged and spills on to the main road causing problem for the residents and creates a breeding ground for mosquitoes. This can lead to many diseases and unhealthy situations.
Also lots of miscreats and unwanted social elements used to frequent this place, making it really unsafe for normal people. This was basically because the square connects many places like Sanchar Nagar, Manawta Nagar, Gulmohar Colony, Kanadia, Bengali Colony etc to Ring Road. But good thing that now police inspection has really increased in Bengali square area.
What's worse in Bengali colony is the water logging problems. Worst thing is that every year the authorities actually delay the laying of drainage pipes so much, that monsoon season begins and the drainage work still hasn't been completed.
The Bengali Square area is ideal for you and your family. The area is easily reachable by road, and there are bus services to and from Bengali Square. If you would like to rent a property in Bengali Square, you'll have to pay between Rs. 7000 and Rs. 11,000 for a two bedroom apartment, and if you want to buy a property, the going rate is Rs. 2,400 per sq. ft. Bengali Square is also close to the main city
