Are you moving to Palasia soon? I think the waterlogging problems there have slightly improved than what they were in the past. The Indore Municipal Corporation had looked into the matter and had found that the drainage systems in Palasia were not in accordance to its population. Intensive de-silting and construction of storm drainage lines have been done.
The waterlogging problems in Palasia have definitely reduced. There will be a further improvement in these conditions once the broken roads have been patched up by the IMC

Hey, there is severe waterlogging in Palasia actually. This is due to the choking up of the drainage systems around these localities.
But I don’t think you need to worry much. IMC has recently launched a de-silting process where already 4000 trucks of silt have been cleared from the drainage systems. A further survey has been launched by the IMC to understand the cause of waterlogging and to try to come up with effective solutions.

Waterlogging is one of the major civic issues in Indore, especially in areas in and around Palasia. If you are going to be living here, then you had better be aware of the condition of the roads after a spell of heavy rainfall. Residents in this area have to wade through in the ankle-deep and sometimes even knee-deep water in this area.
The IMC is supposed to be taking some measures to prevent this, but they are yet to be implemented.
