Kalapatti locality review

Q: I’m thinking about buying a house in Kalapatti. Can someone tell me if it’s a good locality for a family?

yeah. one of the most basic reasons for this trend that i see is that there was good connectivity to the rest of the town. The Kalapatti Main road intersects the locality as well as the Saravanampatti-kalapatti road. Most of the houses that you can get here is individual houses, but there are some apartment projects also like Srivatsa Sankara Apartments.

Basically, it is a residential locality with most of the population the locals..there you can find some old farmers, they had to sell their land for the development to happen. So, in this residential locality, you can see there are many students and professionals residing in this locality as it is near to many IT hubs in this city.

kalapatti is actually a growing locality. There has been good development in the past 10 years or so. You can see that many IT companies have set up in this locality. There you can find 2 good schools, Victory Vidhyalaya matric higher secondary school, PPG Institute of Technology etc. here.

Hey, you have selected a pretty good locality yourself. It is a perfect place for a family home, as well as being affordable. If you move into Kalapatti, you will be living very close to some major schools and educational institutes, like the Indian Public School, Zee School and Suguna Pipe School etc. So, in case you have children, then you will have a lot of good options for their education. You can also look into properties in other residential areas in Coimbatore, like Peelamedu, Saravanampatti and Gandhipuram.

I strongly recommend the locality of Kalapatti for your residential home. This locality is safe and healthy as well as being very affordable. The square foot price doesn’t go higher than around Rs 3400 per square feet and the average square foot price is Rs. 2940 per square feet. There are apartments were the square foot price has gone as low as Rs 800. But I think it’s better to stick to the apartments offering a standard rate, instead of going for the cheapest one.

Kalapatti is an upcoming residential centre of Coimbatore. It has recently been merged with the Coimbatore city corporation. The best thing about this locality is that it is extremely family home oriented, there aren’t any traffic congestion problems and it is peaceful with comparatively lower levels of air pollution. The safety issue is also not a problem here, as the residents are mostly respectable families. There are plenty of apartment projects in this locality; you can check them out at http://www.commonfloor.com/kalapatti-coimbatore/lvp-3pokwy and http://www.commonfloor.com/all-apartments-in-kalapatti/psl-3pokwy.

Yeah, Kalapatti is a preferred locality for buying residential homes. It is very close to the busier Saravanampatti, but isn’t so busy itself. So it is better to go for houses in this area rather than Saravanampatti. The best part is that it is quite close to the SNS Engineering College, so this area is seeing a lot of development, in terms of both real estate and infrastructure. It is just 7kms away from the airport and also quite close to the Tidel Park IT hub.
