Okay, the garbage disposal condition is not so good in Shreenagar. The main reason behind this, is the employee strike in A2Z, which is the company hired by the IMC for garbage disposal across the city.
The illegal dumping grounds in Shreenagar are a matter of concern for all the residents there. It is a breeding ground for insects and other pests. The condition worsens when it rains.
The IMC is actually planning for better garbage disposal systems, like door-to-door garbage collection drives, to improve conditions at Shreenagar

Yeah, the condition is really bad. Even people from well to do households will drive by the empty plots and just throw their overflowing garbage bags on this heap of trash. The contents spill out everywhere, even on the roads. Dogs and crows in this area make the situation even worse by dragging the rubbish all over the place. Sometimes, the garbage is burnt in the plots itself, which gives off toxic smokes and particulates.
It is a serious health hazard for those who living around these plots. Other than this problem, Shreenagar is a very good locality in Indore. You should try to take a house away from any such disposal sites.

Shreenagar has a serious garbage disposal problem. This area lacks a proper garbage bin. The residents just dump all their garbage on the empty plots in this locality. If you’re thinking of buying property in Shreenagar, then I would suggest you to reconsider your options.
The IMC is yet to formulate a good garbage disposal system for localities like Shreenagar. There is no garbage collection system. So the residents are forced to dump all their garbage in empty plots of land. This in turn is very harmful for those living near such plots as well as to the overall health of the community
