large apartment projects or mid size ones

Q: Can you list pros n cons of large residential projects (1000-1200 apartment) vs mid ir small size (100-200 apartment). Number of facilities almost same n pricing being almost same.

Thanks Karthik for the reply. I also felt maintenance will be less in large projects. But does anybody have experience staying in one? Will it be over crowded and will playareas/pools etc always be full in large projects? I am comparing likes of salarpuria greenage to any other small/mid size project.

Hi Geetika, I do not think amenities will be same but if you are going for a large residential project having more then 1000 apartments then you have to pay less maintenance charges, amenities will be more. Usually large residential projects are built in the outskirts of the city and if the builder is providing you 80% open space then all the apartments will have very good ventilation, bus stop, auto stand, schools and hospitals will be at stone throw distance. In a small residential, maintenance charges will be more but as the number of apartments are less which will help you know your neighbors and discuss your problems with the management. The amenities in such kind of projects will be less.
