The Chilavanoor-Bund road will start at the Thykkoodam bridge and will end at Pandit Karuppan Road. GCDA have said that the road will be ready for the public by December 2014, and the work on the project is ongoing. The GCDA is currently acquiring land to expand the road. To widen the road near SA road, the government has allocated 15 crores. You can use this road to travel from your house in Thevara to Chambakkara, Sastri Nagar, and Chilavannoor

This road when completed will be useful to you. Presently there is a lot of traffic jams at the Vyttila junction and also on SA road. This road will reduce travel time, and also reduce the congestion. When the Vyttila Mobility Hub begins full operation, there is bound to be a lot of traffic congestion in the area. The GCDA will widen the road parallel to Sahodaran Ayyappan Road by 15 metres, and some of the roads will be 8 metres wide. The GCDA have acquired some land, and are in the process of acquiring more land

Yes, the Chilavanoor-Bund road will be very beneficial for you because it connects to other parts of Kochi. You can travel very quickly to the rest of the city and the road will also reduce traffic congestion in the city. This project has been waiting for approval for years and was planned many years ago. The road will be next to the SA road, and it will connect Champakkara and Thevara through the NH Bypass. The Greater Cochin Development Authority have also started construction of a link road to link K P Vallon Road and Shastri Nagar
