Hi, I just booked a flat in Signature City Phase 1. Its ready to move in and there is no issue at all for parking. I don’t see why there is a negative comment here. The planning was very neat and design is in fact very good.
hello people! i am proud to say that im now a proud owner of a house at signature city. i kept checking this forum for seeing if everyone was getting frustrated waiting for the handing over as i was. finally got a call from kg office saying to me that my flat is ready for handover. we were so happy! this is my first home.. so better late than never... it is releif to move from a rented house to a home of my own!

Hello All, I am frustrated about the delay. And what about the tension wires running in the middle. Have they got clearance from EB, Have they got EB connections. Water and sewage is it enough for so many flats and moreover cant see the plants, trees and amphitheatre and other amenities as seen on their 3D video in their website..... But the company is going hay while in advertising ready to occupy flats without basic need of electricity. I wish to know if co-owners are taking it up legally for the long delay in handing over and the amount Rs.2 persq feet is very low as they have mentioned in the contract.
I have just received a mail from KG Builders that confirms that they have received the CC from CMDA along with a link to the CMDA website. This good news has been a long time coming. Now that it is finally here, according to KG, A, B & D Blocks of the buildings will be ready to occupy by January 2015.
Dear All, I am not a buyer in Signature City. What I see in the posts here is similar to what I am going through with respect to their project in Kochi. I booked my flat in 2009 and till date I haven't got the hand over. They were denied the completion certificate siting the reason as violation of building rules and deviation from approved plan. KG builders deny that this project does not belong to them however, they are still maintaining Kochi project in their project list and moreover the director of KG builder's name is also there in my agreement. I do not know if this group is trustworthy
I am speaking to Srinivasan, but he say's it will take another 3 months for joint inspection. No one is able to give a proper reply. can we collectively petition to consumer court. Does anyone know the process????
I have had a terrible experience dealing with KG Builders regarding my flat at Signature City. The flat was supposed to be handed over to me in December 2012. It's September 2014 now and I still see no hint of receiving my flat. They have been very prompt in collecting my money to pay off dues from time to time. I was clearly mistaken about KG's reputation, which was the reason I decided to invest in a flat at Signature City and I feel terribly betrayed by the way they have been treating me. My constant inquiries about the status of the flat have fallen on deaf ears. I strongly suggest you stay away from KG builders.
My experience is also the same with other builders but compared to them, who have not delivered more than 6 years since launching their projects on OMR, Anna Nagar, Oragadam etc. KG had at least completed the building and is ready for delivery – the project is getting delayed as contractors failed to deliver. They have been updating the situation personally to the customers. Overall, the buildings have come out well and I am quite pleased with the finishes. By the time you buy, there won’t be any issues and you can occupy before end of this year.
Our family has decided to take a flat from KG Builders for Signature City. We were looking to invest in two properties and faced similar problems for another project by a separate builder in the same area. However, after some consultation, we heard, that there is no deviation from KG Builders. I heard even CMDA inspected this building post Mugalivakkam issue. Recently we heard that they are trying to get partial CC from CMDA for EB supply. We were told by the KG representatives that floor inspection process is going on in C Block. Which is why, it might take 3 months to complete the floor inspection process, as CMDA has tightened rules about construction quality.
I am Mrs.Murugan I wish to share my concerns also over this thread. We have purchased a Flat in block B-306, Being NRI, We are unable to get any proper answers from Mr.Srinivasan. Though location of the project is good but it already to much delayed in hand over it is Feb 2015 are there any families who have started residing in the complex. One more concern why don't we all co -owners take it up legally regarding the delay in handover and the amount which they are paying for it is considerably low,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, What is the latest update about EB........ have they got the connections. Is there any owners forum to discuss in detail all these matters with regards to this builder.

I think CMDA is not clearing files after this Mogalivakkam incident – some of the Tamil newspapers are holding CMDA responsible. Due to this confusion, builders are finding it difficult to get sanctions or clearances. KG is one of them though their building is ready for possession. All the struggles are getting over and new persons like you will have no issues now. You can book and join us to enjoy the fruits.
I was in the area and went to check the progress in person. From what I could understand, they will get power from TNEB for one block in a month or so. After that the rest of the blocks would have no problem getting permission. The association is putting pressure on CMDA, so we can hope for the best! It is true that there is a delay, but now consumer court cannot step in as the building is standing and CMDA is involved.
Lets just hope we can get the home without any further delay! Its been a long time and even if we could take the fight to the court now, it will only delay the process.

I have purchased a 3BHK apartment in KG Signature City and I am happy to say that it is a very good investment option mainly because the Mogappair is one of the most sought after residential areas in Chennai. There are many reputed schools and educational institutions in Mogappair like DAV, SBIOA and Velammal etc. The apartment is classy and the amenities are also great.

It is advisable to buy now as they have started handing over Phase I starting with D block. A,B,C blocks to follow during this next quarter. They have few availability in this ready to occupy blocks. They have phase II where in G block 1250 sft cost Rs. 80 L. You need to pay 10% and balance after 1 year. They will pay the pre EMI for 1 year, I saw the advt. in The Habitat today.

Well Vaibhav, I dont know how u missed it. That is the first thing that i was in front of me. It runs right in between the 2 phases of this project and goes beyond VGN minerva. Just blindly ask the staff "Will the HT wires be an issue" and check their response, u will understand where it is.
Hi, Hi, There are 12 floors and not 16 floors in each block. I was looking at the payment schedule and it says 50% on booking & registration, 10% on piling, 10% on completion of 4th floor, 10% on 8th, 10% on 12th, 5% on plastering and 5% on hand off. I too have booked in the phase 2 - Block F.
