I have had a very bad experience at aahika

Q: I am currently staying at aahika apartments, bannerghatta road. The maintenance there is pathetic. No maintenance staff present at all. My owner has paid the full maintenance charges for one year, and this is causing the builder to take things lightly.

My owner is asking me to pay the maintenance since he has already paid it. I dont want to pay since there is no maintenance at the project at all.

I have put my concerns here : http://www.thekirankumar.com/blog/2014/06/29/aahika-apartments-blore-gift-hell-earth/

What do I do ?

Hi all,
Is it true that the maintenance is probably the worst in whole of bangalore and no proper supply of water, nor a working generator. As i am planning to buy a resale of property of this project, it will create a lot of difficulties during stay in this apartment.

Bannerghatta Road, which houses the premier IIM-Bangalore, has witnessed a significant number of real estate developments. The locality and its surrounding areas have gradually undergone an all-round development to become the hub of commercial and residential space. Well-known companies which have set-up base in its periphery have acted as growth drivers for the development of Bannerghatta Road. I

I wanted to know how to fix the situation where the builder is not performing maintenance and has appointed only 1 person to do maintenance.

Hello Kiran.. I can understand your situation. If the maintenance charges is mention in the rental agreement then I think you have to pay the maintenance charges. But if it is not mention in the rental agreement then you can take your own decision. Thank you.
