Hey...i always admire a good locality with a park and other facilities where you can relax in the evening as well as many other facilities that you dont have to go much far away. For Saibaba Colony, there are some parks here. Bharathi park is a big park, there is also a coimbatore municipal park as well as a children's park here.

I came to know that the rate of the apartment was Rs. 4300 in the third quarter of 2013. But then during the first quarter of 2014, the price started to depreciate. But, again, the price rose to Rs. 4571 rupees per square feet. I dont think that the area is witnessing a correct demand and supply scenario at present.

guys, these infrastructure facilities are not only about the schools here. the strong residential value of this apartment is upheld by the presence of some good shopping areas especially near to the Mettupalayam road, and NSR road that passes through this locality and along Chinnammal Street . Most of the commercial spaces in this locality is concentrated around this area.

I dont know what the reason for this ups and downs in the property rates here. I think there will be a boom in this area soon because of the recent infrastructure development. There are good facilities for education available in this locality for the residents, many good schools can been seen in this locality like Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kalamandir Art school, Radcliffe school, Bharathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School etc.

Hey, the Saibaba Colony is a worthwhile investment place in Coimbatore, and the locality is growing at a rapid pace because of the considerable amount of infrastructure development that happened over the last few years. there are some important government offices that are located in this region like the Gass Forest Museum, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board as well as the Coimbatore Corporation water authority is also in Saibaba Colony.

Another issue present here is the traffic problem! It's horrible, especially in the evening during rush hour! I've heard that the corporation plans to set up some solutions like widening the road and preventing vehicle encroachment. I read that the traffic pattern changed a few years ago when they made NSR a one-way.

That underground drainage work i think really affected the residents of sai baba colony. Roads have been closed as a result, people had to take many diversions. The stink in the area was unbearable at some point but now thankfully it is much better. Lack of trees and greenery and lack of street lights are other problems of the area.

There are quite some issues in this colony. Number one problem is the mosquito menace. this has been going on for a while now. A burst drain pipe or something was the cause of sewage and drain water to be leaking out onto the open streets and mosquitoes immediately accumalated in the area as a result of this.

When you think about investing anywhere you have to think about the positives and negatives because there will always be plus points and minus points. Coimbatore's real estate has only recently been picking up and last year it faced a major boom period which is amazing! Sai Baba Colony is one of the best places in Coimbatore, with nice apartments, good infrastructure and important amenities. Road connecticity is excellent as already explained previously :) So seriously, consider this. The civic issues usually are given more importance in places having high real estate value and Sai Baba Colony is one of them! :)

Hey so I'm not completely sure whose fault that mosquito infestation was. Apparently the residents had to discharge the sewage water onto the streets only because there wasn't a proper drain network in the areas under the Jolarpet panchayat. So the panchayat was upset as well because the people should have informed them about the civic issue instead of just directly acting and not thinking about the consequences. I'm not on anyones side because the panchayat ended up taking a very long time to finally fix the problem. Ever since then, I doubt the locality has faced such an issue after that.

A couple of years ago, Sai Baba Colony did actually face certain issues. And it became a very big problem. There was an open drainage problem that happened because of a broken drain pipe that made the sewage seep onto the streets inconveniencing all the residents of Sai Baba Colony. Actually this was in Thirupattur to be more specififc. Thirupattur residents thought their civic issues would be addressed better if they were attached to Sai Baba Colony but that did clearly didn't happen. So what ended up happening? A mosquito infestation. A very serious one. History can repeat itself, so think about it.

Yes this is definitely one of the better places to invest in the city. I read online in this article http://www.commonfloor.com/guide/saibaba-colony-in-coimbatore-sees-high-residential-demand-38965.html that the demand is high even though prices of property is high. Reason I think is because Sai Baba Colony is in the very heart of the city, so it is a convenient location and all the big companies are there. Good infrastructure and less civic issues. The prices will definitely appreciate in the near future and there will be more infrastructure development. Also there are very good schools and colleges especially the State Forest Service college. So yes, the place has very good potential!

Hey man, so this according to me is an awesome place to live. I'm a biker see? And this area has some of the best roads in the city. There's the NH-67 that runs along the eastern side, the Thadagam road runs that runs along its western side. The 100-feet road connects the area to the Sathyamangalam road. The Marudhamalai road that joins the Thadagam road at the south western part of Saibaba Colony, connects the area with the western part of the city. Oh and there's also the NSR road which runs along the northern part of Saibaba Colony that is linked to Thadagam road with NH-67. I like riding my bike to the airport sometimes because it's only 12 km away along the Avinashi Road. Railway Station is even closer, just 5 km away. You should definitely consider investing here (especially if you have to be somewhere on time in the mornings)! :)
