Upcoming bus stand in Indore

Q: I heard there is going to be a real big bus stand in Indore soon? Can anyone tell me where exactly? I’m shifting to Indore next year, so I was considering a place near a major bus stand as I have to commute a lot.

Yes, there is definitely a new bus stand coming up at Palda Square. The IDA is spending as much as Rs 10 crore on this whole project. Its a good thing for the other bus stand of the city, especially the Sarwate bus stand, as this will help in reducing the traffic pressure there to some degree. The Bus Stand Monitoring Committee has come up with this plan. If you’re looking to stay close to major bus stands, you can also try out the localities around the Sarwate bus stand, and also Rajiv Gandhi Square.

Yes I assume that you are talking about the new bus stand that is going to come up soon at Palda Square. And I think that if you’re actually considering moving to Indore soon, then you should definitely go for a house in Palda. This bus stand has been in the works for quite some time now. Initially there was the issue of illegal encroachments that was obstructing its construction. The tender processes were dealt with last year only. The constructions were supposed to start after the assembly elections.
