The price in Mhow is less as compared to the average price in the rest of the city. I think the price for residential land is around 700 rupees per sq ft, and for independent houses, the price is around 1900 rupees per sq ft,
I have read somewhere that a SADA ( Special area Development Authority) is being set up between the IMC jurisdiction and Mhow, which will be responsible for all the development along this region.
Apart from the water problem, Mhow had faced many other civic problem, like lack of waste disposal and no street lights etc, But right now, steps are being taken for the improvement of these basic amenities of the locality and projects worth 20 croress have been sanctioned around Mhow for the betterment of the area,
Hey, I heard that there were some disturbances in Mhow between the residents and the contonement authorities. Im not sure though. The residents were demanding better infrastructure in Mhow, but the defence laws of the area do not allow that. But I think that has been sorted out. There was some kind of a Loksabha meeting recently about this.
Mhow is away from the noise and pollution of the city and is close to beautiful greenery and many water falls and picnic spots, like the Patla Pani Water fall, the Mehndi Kund Water falls, Nkeri dam, Berchha dam and the forest of Janpav, which has a important history. :)
Hey I heard that some kind of an industrial area is about to come up near Mhow, and it is called the DMIC Project, the Dhar-Pithampura-Mhow industrial region, and the government has alloted around 370 crors for this industrial region. I think this will bring about a lot of development in Mhow in the future.
Mhow has good connectivity with the other parts of Indore too. With its proximity to the State Highway 1 and the construction of the Mhow Bypass road, and the Mhow - Ghatabillod road, and Mhow-Simrol road the connectivity has only increased.
Mhow is very secure as well. It has a military/contonement area within it and is quite peaceful. Thjere is a huge population of army personnel here with some prestegious army training institutions here like the Infantry School, The Military College of Telecommunications and the Army War College. Security is not an issue in Mhow.
Yes, but there is some water scarcity there. But I have heard that the Indore Municipality is seeking a ssolution for this by using the water from the Choral river. There is a dam that has been proposed here which is over 50 feet high and 600 feet long and this dam will draw over 180 mld of water from Choral.
Mhow is a good residential area with many schools and other social infrastructure around. Medical facilities are available from the Military hospital or the Prashanthi Hospital or Get Well Hospitals. Also, this area passes thorught the State Highway 1, which has given the real estate maket there a big boost.
Hey, Mhow has quite a few good schools, like the Army School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Wishwood cottage School, Bayonet school and St. Mary's higher Secondary School. They offer education in CBSE and State and ICSE syllabus and they are quite reputed.
Yeah, its the SADA who are going to take care of all the developmental and infrastructural related issues of this region. There is already quite a lot of developments happening here. It just needs some more push by this authority. I'm very pleased with this progress.
Actually yes, you heard right. All these villages no? along the Mhow - Indore line, they are going to see some major developments. I'm very pleased with this project. They are going to be given a complete makeover, on an urban level!
