oh, if you are talking about the connectivity, then one thing more to add. Kadavanthra also has a major intersection in the city of Kochi, intersecting the Sahodaran Ayyappan Road with the Kaloor Kadavanthra Road and the KP Vallon Road. The Headquarters of the Greater Cochin Development Authority or the GCDA is in Kadavanthra.

Hey, I think there is some bridge construction going on in Kadavanthra. I think this will make the land more valuable here. As this is a quite expensive area, there is also a rising demand for land here. The metro rail will also be an added advantage for the connectivity to and from Kadavanthara.

Ok so first of all there is a huge pothole-ridden stretch in front of the Kadavanthra junction. There even was a protest about the condition of these roads a few days ago. Also the sewage treatment plant is causing problems. So some foreign experts are being brought in to fix the sewage treatment plant here in Kadavanthra.

Also the construction of the Kadavanthra bridge has been halted because of some material shortage. In fact even the Kadavanthra market bridge was halted. Other than that, the stretch between Aluva and Kadavanthra is badly damaged. and in fact so is the Vytilla-Kadavanthra stretch

Locality is satisfactory, but the roads are not. The bad roads in this locality have been a major problem, its all because of the metro construction works that are going on here. The DMRC were supposed to keep fixing these roads, but I dont know how far that has been taken care of.

Hey, being a college student and living in Kadavanthra, you will never be bored as the place is full of life. Cafes, restaurants, restobars, gaming lounges are all located within the nighbourhood. Even facilities like ATMs, banks, hospitals, supermarkets and parlours can be found in this locality. Getting around the city will not be a problem as he autorickshaw drivers do not charge you hefty amounts and buses also run through Kadavanthra super frequently. The nearest railway station is South Railway Station - 2 km away. While staying here, Willingdon Island (20 minute drive from Kadavanthra) can be your destressing zone, in all its tranquility. If you are interested in sports, you can check out coaching classes offered by the Regional Sports Centre in Kadavanthra itself.

Having lived in Kadavanthra for the past 7 years (through my high school and university) I can tell you from first hand experience that it is the best place you can live in Kochi city, as a youth. It is a very lively area, with many coffee shops and gaming lounges nearby. A number of restaurants and restobars can also be found here. You will find ATMs, banks, post offices, railway stations, bus/auto stands, supermarkets, hospitals and parlours in and around Kadavanthra. If you are a sports person and especially if you want to join any coaching class, you can check out the Regional Sports Centre (Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium) which is just half a kilometre from the Kadavanthra junction.

Hey, firstly I hope you have checked out the distance between your college and your flat. If it is any more than 8 km then consider staying elsewhere as you definitely do not want to spend all your time traveling! Moving on, Kadavanthra is a chill locality to live in. It is exciting and there are many cafes and restobars where you and your friends can hangout. There are quite a few (affordable) restaurants which serve different cuisines where you can dine. Traveling within the city will not be an issue as there many bus stands here, and even rickshaw drivers do not overcharge you. ATMs, hospitals, parlours and parks are all in the vicinity.

Hey, Kadavanthra is a pretty and calm locality which has a lot to offer to you. Apart from being a main area in Kochi it is linked to other main areas of the city as well. You will literally bump into auto and bus stands, also it's just a 15 minute drive to the South Railway Station. You just have to look around to find ATMs, banks, hospitals, parlours, shopping complexes, department stores etc. Restaurants and cafes like Mainland China, Keshia, Cilantro, Itty's, Lavazza can be your hangout spots! You can also grab a few drinks from restobars like Masala, Coq-Dor, Fennel. I hope you have checked if the college you're joining is near by Kadavanthra, for your own convenience.

Heyya! I recently moved to Kadavanthra and so far (5 months) it's been a pleasant stay. Kadavanthra is in the heart of the city and is well connected to main areas of Kochi. ATMs, banks, supermarkets, parlours, hospitals, parks etc are all within your reach here. There are a variety of restaurants (serving different cuisines) in Kadavanthra. Hangout spots like French Toast, Arabian Nights, Itty's, lavazza, Cocoa Tree are lovely places for good food and chill times with friends. Come Friday night, and you can head to Chimes or Ayela for a few drinks. If you're a party person, you can head to High Bar in Dreams Hotel for happening parties. Public transport is never really a problem as there are auto stands and bus stands here. Also, the nearest railway station is just 2 km away.
