Q: What is the traffic scene like in Tripunithura? Is it congested or smooth? I'll be shifting there soon, that's why Im asking. Dont want to be caught unawares

I feel that the situation has gotten much worse ever since they closed up the pocket roads near FACT nagar. I think all these areas were shut down to create the approach road for the new flyover, but right now, its only adding to the major traffic congestion problem here.

I feel that the Pettah Bridge is also adding to this traffic block. Because it is so narrow, it practically does nothing in sharing the traffic load and it just ends up trapping us all in this mess. Its especially bad for pedestrians or anyone on their cycles, because there is absolutley no footpath to walk on.

yes, Im afraid he's right. Infact some of these roads in Kochi are centuries old. From the time when Kochi was under a monarchy. The roads are narrow, and they are all buckling under the pressure of the huge number of cars and buses that ply in Kochi now.

Hello friend. Im sorry to say that there is a lot of traffic porblems here in Tripunithura. Problem is that even though everthing has changed in Kochi, starting from the number of people here, the number of jobs and all, but the roads still remain the same from ages ago, especially in Tripunithura.
