Hebbal Garbage Dump cleaning

Q: Does anyone know about the cleanliness drives in Hebbal region? I think there are some people doing it. But it is not effective. Atleast the MCC will do something?

I heard they are dumping waste in graveyards and all! Seriously? If the residents don't classify their garbage, it is understandable. We can create awareness. But what if the Corporation itself doesn't do its job. Bad.

Ridiculous! When there is any kind of delay or mistake in tax settlements from us civilians, the corporation will take fine. Then how about this now? When MCC itself is not doing its job properly. So many school children creating awareness and all. MCC should help no

It is just lasting 3 months. All this cleaning up of the Hebbal open site. Mainly the MCC fellows are the ones whho are no cooperating. It is their job to keep the place clean, and from what I hear they dump wastes in any unassigned site within city limits.

Oh, that Let's Do It thing... such a nice initiative. Awareness is created na. There should be more of these in the city. Not just Hebbal. People need to know that it is a responsibility.

Yeah, I was a part of that NGO drive. We along with college and school students had completely cleared a waste dumping site, on an open area on the Hebbal Ring Road. We even planted saplings and created a garden etc.

But that is so sad ya. I remember there was this NGO called Let's Do It Mysore, or somethhing.. They collaborated with school children and conducted cleanliness drive. It was all in the news. Just sad to hear that it is dirty yet again.

Yes,it is constantly unclean. And it came in the news too recently. Hebbal is mainly industrial estate area right? That's why. Lot of waste gets dumped, and people just don't care.
