Q: Hi, I recently came across a news which was about the structural stability of the hospitals in Mysore. Can you please elaborate about this?






Latest Answer: We're upgrading services at these two hospitals. Patients from Primary Healthcare Centres, taluk health and community health centres are referred here. We have asked a private firm Civil-Aid to assess and strengthen the stability of the buildings.

Q: Hi, I and my partner are planning to move to mysore in some months from now. I wanted to know about the major problems that we might have to expect here.








Latest Answer: I came to know that few residents of Kurubarahalli complained of miscreants stealing sheep which are tied outside on bikes. There were also complaints about the petty shops open till late night, which has made the residents deprived of their sleep due to the noise.

Q: Hi, I am interested to know more about the progress of the Outer Ring Road in Mysore. If any one knows in detail about the project, please tell me more about that. When will it be over?




Latest Answer: hey, did you know, at one point of time recently, the work for the storm water drain had even stopped. I think that the mayor has asked the official machinery to speed up the work. I think that the project is crucial to stop flooding of low-lying areas in Narasimharaja constituency.

Q: Hello, the outer ring road is now here, you think the property prices will go up? If so, by how many percent?
Latest Answer: The urban body expects that housing projects will pick up in eastern side, especially towards T Narsipur road now that the outer ring road has some up that is not far away. These things will happen pretty soon.

Q: Hi, I wanted to know if there are some important industrial development going on in Mysore, especially after the budget. Can you give a review on this?










Latest Answer: Some other projects that are included in this project are development of three industrial parks across 10,000 acres in the next five years, establishment of a solar park over 5,000 acres to generate 1000 Mw, 5 per cent interest subsidy for crushers which manufacture M-sand, solar power facility for 100 schools and colleges, and development, upgradation and widening of PWD roads.

Q: Hi, I wanted to knows, as the new budget was announced, whether the healthcare projects have been announced? Are there any proposals for that?

Latest Answer: Yeah..wasnt it. I heard that proposals to the tune of Rs. 491-crore had been submitted to the Chief Minister to upgrade the hospital infrastructure under the Mysore Medical College and Research Institute and develop new facilities keeping in view the demands of public healthcare.

Q: So I heard that there will be some water projects for the summer. I think this is to stop the water problem. How is it going? ANy idea?
Latest Answer: You know that a control room has also been set up to attend to complaints regarding water needs in the rural areas. It will operate between 7am and 8pm everyday. Villagers can call 0821-2460495.

Q: hey, I came to know that most of the development projects in Mysore has been going at snail pace. can i get some detailed information about this?





Latest Answer: You know, actually, nearly 44 works are under progress and work order has been issued for about 53. Another 13 are yet to get the government`s approval. there is a committee, headed by district in-charge minster, to look after the works under the CM`s grant.

Q: Hello, This is Krishna.. In recent news, there was something about the MUDA taking up land development as a joint venture with farmers, can I have some details on this?
Latest Answer: According to this law, the MoU for joint venture development will be entered into only with real landholders in whose name the record of rights, tenancy and crops (RTC) is registered and not general power of attorney (GPA) holders. The MoU clause will decide that ownership of 50 per cent of the land acquired will be with MUDA and the ownership of remaining sites will be with the party entering into the MoU with MUDA, or the farmer.

Q: Hello. i got a really nice job opportunity in Basavanahalli locality in Mysore, and wanted to ask some localites if moving to this new locality will be worth my time?
Latest Answer: The properties in this locality are priced at a reasonable Rs 2900 to Rs 3100 per sq ft. This price is actually very decent, and given that the area is bound the develop in the future these prices are bound to increase in the future.
