Hey there ,Kochi Metro Rail Limited and National Payment Corporation of India have signed MoU to be associated with the roll-out of a common mobility card for greater Kochi area through the use of NPCI's RuPay specifications for cards and payment terminals and other payment modes.

It will open to public only in Jul 2016 though. So if you are planning for the future then fine. But I feel for the future, you shhould invest in villas. That is the evergreen real estate king in Kerala.

Hey, from what Ive heard last about the metro project, there was some land dispute going on with the paddy farmers over the land acquisition. The residents at Muttom were creating quite a noise, with their pleas against the land acquisition. But thankfully that got dealt with pretty smoothly.
