I think first when this high power line came into existence, the civic body had lodged a complaint against it with district administration, based on which an order was issued to stop the work. But that order wasnt complied with and work continued as usual.

Yes, how did u know? There is a high power line that is passing straight through the middle of this town. Its very risky, and complaints have already been made against it.
