Q: Hello all, I am from Trissur and I am planning to settle down after some years in Coimbatore, to be precise, Vilankurichi. I don't know about the locality in detail, though. Before buying a plot there, i am curious to know about the locality and the facilities that i would get in that locality. Can anyone tell me about it?
oh, that's informative. moreover, most of the apartments are just under construction only. this underconstruction projects accounts up to nearly 75 percent of the properties that are coming!! only less than 13 percent of the apartments are completed. that means just quite a few. quite a few projects are going to come in the area too. almost 12.5 percent.

oh, just talking about the positives is not enough. There are some problems in Vilankurichi too. though the connectivity is very good, you can see a lot of problems with the traffic in this area. moreover, before you reach into this small township, you can see a lot of pothole and gutters. this is really a thing that should be taken care of. anyway, some improvements have come over a few years as it came under the corporation.
only 6 kilometer to airport, 2 kilometer to Saravanampatti, 3 kilometer to famous college like KGISL and BOSCH college, many IT companies nearby, Sahara City very close to Vilankurinchi as well as SNS College, PPG Institute of Technology, Victory Vidyalayam Matric Hr. Sec. School. It is within Corporation limit. Airport connectivity is very good here.
Population of Vilankurichi in 2001 is 9122. There are many high rise buildings at present and many are under construction there because the population is somewhat thickly populated and proximity to the IT centres. Some of the apartment readily available and under construction are Nivasan Meadows, Nivasan Aastha, Rengas Cedars, Isha Armonia, Srivari Ananyaa, BMB Samta Enclave, Ko Zone Aishwaryam Pride etc.

High School etc. PSG college of Technology, Kumaraguru College of Technology etc are there itself. Vilankurichi also has hospitals nearby like the Sankara Eye Hospital, KGM hospital, KMCH etc.
guys, Vilankurichi is very near to the upcoming IT park. It is also just 15 minutes drive from the existing IT centre. The City centre is also well connected. Usually, this locality is the prime location for all IT professionals, job seekers and all. It is also just 3 km from the Tidal park.
Hey, its a good place to live actually. The locality has good basic facilities like water and electricity. Water is provided by the CCMC and electricity by the TNEB. Adding to this facilities, the NH 209 passes through the heart of Vilankurichi.
Sure, Vilankurichi is a pretty good residential locality in Coimbatore. It is actually located in the north part of the city. The connectivity to other parts of the city is very good from Vilankurichi especially to the airport, as well as to the IT centres and educational institutes. Moreover, the transport facility like buses, is also very good there.
Ya, this place has a great real estate value because of the IT growth in the surrounding areas. Earlier, it was an agricultural area, but now, the land is being bought by many major realty groups. The price of the land is increasing rapidly. But, comparatively, the Rate of Investment (RoI) is average.
