Information about the connectivity issues in Mysore

Q: Hi all, I happened to hear some bad reviews about the connectivity issue all over in mysore city. Is this true? I was planning to invest in the real estate of mysore. Will it affect the real estate of this place. Is there any possible improvement for this issue?

but, the city has a very good climate that is very good for people to live in. So, as a place for investment for residential purposes, it is a good location. It is very close to Bangalore, but inspite of this, it does not have a good connectivity to this place. I think that the by introducing that express highway as well as introducing fast moving direct trains can do wonders.

i think that the factors for this city failing to gain the interest of the investors is that the government is not pursuing its interest to lure people to this city. The industrialists and players in the IT sector as well as the academicians and all are complaining that the government has not shown interest in attracting investments. moreover, its infrastructure is not so good. so, you itself can imagine the situation.

Yeah, i agree with this comment. The lack of connectivity is a major constrain for mysore to get investments. Unlike the manufacturing sector , i think that the IT players need very swift connectivity. This is exactly what mysore lacks. I fear that in the coming years, mysore will lose its IT related investment to mangalore or tumkur or so on as these are well connected to the city of bangalore.

exactly, not even a single investor has come to mysore in the recent years. Though the big players like infosys, wipro and L&T and all have their campuses in mysore, other major players are not at all showing any interest in this region. Mysore is the next destination for IT players in bangalore, but this is only in paper. This is not true off-records.

hey there, the lack of connectivity is a major issue actually in mysore. It is seriously dampering the IT industry more than anything in this tier-2 city. Even if it is very proximate to the silicon city bangalore, this city has failed to attract investments in the IT sector.
