Q:Hi all, I happened to hear some bad reviews about the connectivity issue all over in mysore city. Is this true? I was planning to invest in the real estate of mysore. Will it affect the real estate of this place. Is there any possible improvement for this issue?
Latest Answer: but, the city has a very good climate that is very good for people to live in. So, as a place for investment for residential purposes, it is a good location. It is very close to Bangalore, but inspite of this, it does not have a good connectivity to this place. I think that the by introducing that express highway as well as introducing fast moving direct trains can do wonders.

Latest Answer: Ya ya.. this development project will open huge opportunities for both the skilled and unskilled labourers. Q:Hey guys, I heard that Mysore is also in the list of cities chosen to become smart cities. Is it true? Are there any issues regarding this? plz give some informative details about this news?
Latest Answer: i gotta know that the IT companies which are looking for a cheap, but effective platform are taking interest in taking up the project under public private partnership. If this happens, then there is a great scope for investment in the mysore city area. The greatest advantage would be for real estate. There would be lot of apartment projects in the area that was once filled with indivual houses.
Q:hello friends, there has been much development of the private housing layouts in and around mysore. but is there any plans to provide the basic amenities in these places?
Latest Answer: This is really a great initiative as it would lead to more people buying the land there. The real estate business of these layouts will also rise when such basic amenities like the water, electricity and roads are provided. But misappropriation of funds should be avoided as it happened under the JNNURM last time. Dustbins costing Rs. 5 crores were distributed to nearly 1.30 lakh households in the city for segregation of waste. There was huge corruption in this.
Q:Hey everyone, I came to know that there is some development going on in the direction of waste management. Can I know what it is actually? Is there any initiative that is taken for making Mysore pollution free?
Latest Answer: the actual plan is that they are enforcing the Plastic Waste (Management and Handling) rules of 2011. It is related to authorisation, manufacturing, recycling and disposal of plastic and creating public awareness as well. this is really a boost for the image of Mysore.
Q:Hi all, i just happened to read in the papers that the Outer Ring Road project is facing some obstacles. What exacly is this project? can anyone give me some info about this project. thanks in advance :)
Latest Answer: there is one more reason for this issue, ok...this is the railway under bridge work. But, i think this will be resolved through negotiations between the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Railway authorities. But, i think fund is also another issue. in 2013, the MUDA proposed to impose toll on the roads as well as charge extra cess from the people who owned land by the roadside. this could tackle the problem of lack of fund.
Q:Hello there, wasn't there a news that the mysore airport is going to be expanded? what is the further development in this field? can anyone provide some info regarding this?
Latest Answer: yeah, in my opinion, the airport should be expanded as fast as possible because if it does not do so, Mysore will lose out to other cities. even though NHAI is stern on upgrading the highway, i think they have plans to start the upgradation of NH 212 from Kadakola by sparing the land that is required for the airport expansion.
Q:Hey friends, i came to know that mysore which was once known for its individual row of houses is now turning to multi-storied building. Does anyone have any information about this. Please share it with me.
Latest Answer: now, there is a shift in the view of the new project too. builders have realized now that those who buy apartments are mostly locals itself. They prefer ready-to-occupy flats rather than investing and paying advance for newly launched projects. this is because many investors were cheated here during the 2008 to 2012 period when there was downward trend in the real estate industry in mysore.
