Not just the basic infra facilities, BJP is even planning on making the city's resources more sustainable by planning a number of green initiatives such as bicycle rental scheme and promoting construction of energy-efficient and environment-friendly buildings. Whether or not for the civic polls, these initiatives if implemented will affect the market positively for sure.

Also multi level parking lots is something that is high on the agenda of BJP for development in the city. Because currently the no. of vehicles in Indore keeps on increasing. Hopefully this will alleviate the parking issues faced by vehicle owners all over the city.

The BJP is aiming to spend around Rs 37,000 crore for the development of Indore, as opposed to the meagre Rs 650 cr spent by the Congress in 10 yrs. In fact they want to undertake projects worth Rs 6000 cr this year only!

I heard that their initiative will include a number of high-rise construction to deal with the space crunch in Indore. The inter-city public transport is also going to improve thanks to the 1500 new buses that they're hoping to hire or buy

I heard that they are also planning to build 5 lakh houses for the economically weaker sections of the society here. And the light metro rail in Indore might actually happen, since its also being planned in Gwalior and Jabalpur. As it is the feasibility studies for the project have already began.

BJP is promising a lot of things here in Indore. Its all because of the upcoming elections. They are promising a light metro rail service in the city. If this actually happens it will ease up the difficult commute in the city. I think then we can definitely expect some market appreciation.
