Q: I will be moving to Rajendra Nagar with my family. We might rent a house, actually Im even considering buying, since that could be a good investment for the future. Please tell me a bit about Rajendra Nagar, I dont have much idea about the place
There are some residential plots as well! Actually quite a few. Have you ever considered making that kind of investment? These are all priced at an average of Rs 1500 to 2500 per sq ft. They are usually available in dimensions of 1000 to 1500 sq feet.
The villas arent that many, but there are some definitely. These are usually around Rs 1850 psf. The houses are slightly costlier, can be anywhere between Rs 2000 to Rs 35000 psf. If your family is slightly bigger then an independent house or villa is your best bet. Otherwise just get a 2 or 3bhk apartment those are good enough too.
Prices are also still very much affordable in here. Villas, independent houses and apartments are all available here. Generally for the apartments the average price rate is rs 2500 per sq ft. In fact there are even residential plots available for sale here in Rajendra Nagar.
You can rent here, rates are low only. For 1bhk its slightly more - average Rs 8 per sq ft. For 2 bhks or more, its lesser, around Rs 6-7 per sq ft. Apartments are available in 1000 to 1500 sq ft built up area size.
Ok the popular Lotus Electronic Supermarket is also here in Rajendra Nagar. Other than that, other smaller commercial establishments are also here to serve the inhabitants of Rajendra Nagar. Popular eateries here are Utsav Resort & Garden, Domino's Pizza, Choudhary Restaurant, and Hotel Bee Town.
You'll find supermarkets and grocery stores in this stretch by the dozens. example, D-mart, New Food Land and Easy Day. And as for the investment, you can definitely buy in this locality, as it will give you returns soon, but I wont say that those will be very high. If you want to invest properly then go for one of the prime localities of Indore.
Oh and not just schools, think about the variety of healthcare facilities that are present here! All these hospitals and health centres like Indira Memorial Hospital, Prathamik Swast Kendra, and even Sai Bhibhuti Day Care Centre, all add to the residential value of the place, which is why so many people choose to live here.
Its defintiely a good place to invest in, as well as live in. Primarily because of the strong social infrastrucutre that has been established all around it. For example schools, Now you have the Emerald Heights, then Alpine Public School, and of course the Indore Public School and hte Ishwar Prem Vidyamandir. Even the State Institute of Hotel Management is present here
Yeah Rajendra Nagar is defintiely one of the better residential localities of the city. Also since the Agra-Bombay Road passes through here, it makes it well connected to the other places as well. The state run buses frequent this place, and you can board them from any of the Rajendra Nagar mini bus stand, Reti Mandi bus stop, Dadhichi bus stop Gamle wali bus stop, or even the BRTS stop.
