Hey there are a lot of schools and colleges around this place too like the CNC School, ELGI matriculation Secondary School, KPM Matriulation School, and the Nirmala Matha Convent School. You have good medical facilities too in J D Hospital and SM hospital

Hey but the water problem in here is really bad re. The water is supplied only once in10 days, and the residents here have to manage with the little amount that is received. The problem is very acute. Just want you to know.

Hey this area is secret too. there is no problem of security in here, There is the Podanur Polica station right here, and the cops here do a geat duty There are frequent patrols in the are during night and they are very carefull.

Hey, in my view, Podanur is a locality where many State Highways and National Highways are converging, You have the nationahl Highway 47 that goes to Salem and Kochi, and the State highway 202. I think this will bring about a change in the Podanur area.

I agree. Apart from the access to these National and Sate highway, the area also has a lot od reputed industries like the Everest Industry and the Larsen and Turbo Industries, which along with providing employement made the people live in this area.

Hey Podanur is one of the earliest localities in Coimatore. This place has a major railway station that was the mail access point for trains until the Coimbatore Railway Station was built. So that is why this is a developed area since a really long time and there are many people living here.

There are many bus stops that are places strategically here from where you can get the Coimbatore city buses, and which will take you to the city. The Cinna radio Station Bus Stop, Eru Company Bus Top, Eshwar Nagar Bus stop, etc all have good access to buses.

In case you travel a lot, then the connectivity of this place is also really good. You have the Podanur Railway Station here where quite a few trains stop, and the Coimbatore Railway Junction is only 10 km from here.

Hey or else you can consider living in an apartment here. I think the present price for apartments here is around 3000-3,200 rupees per sq ft or so. Im not sure though. It changes according to the apartment. You can get a decent 2 hk apartment for around 30 lakhs or 40 lakhs.

Hey Podanur is a really good locality to reside in. It is one of the most preferred residential localities in Coimbatore and also it is the costliest. Majority of the area in here is in the form of residential lands and plotas and indpendent house, But there are also some high rise apartmets here that have come up.

I will give you some information about the prices trend in this area. The price for rsidential land in here is pretty cheap. It is around 350 - 400 rupees per sq ft. That is pretty reasonale. And I think the price in here for independent houses is around 3,800 ruppees per sq ft.

Hi, Podanur is one of the oldest colonies that was established in Coimbatore. It has all th ebasic ameities available there like shops, markets, clinics and restaurents there, If you look at it in terms of development, I should say that Podanur is a pretty developed area.
