The locality is quite under-developed in my opinion. But it has some decent neighboring localities, which make the life of the residents easier. Some of them are Thenkarai, Pooluvapatti, Sundapalayam, Viraliyur, Madampatti, Karunya Nagar, Thenamanallur, Thondamuthur etc.

Here are some details about the civic infrastructure in the locality. I'll be honest here, there is nothing much to write about in terms of civic infrastructure. The nearest area where you can get some decent shops is Karunya Nagar. Some of the shops are Nescafe, Xerox, Sun Star Tailor, Shakti Traders etc.

The state of civic infrastructure in the locality is not that great. One of the only school in the area is Government High School. Also to get medical attention you will have to travel to Sadivayal, where the lone hospital is Seesha-Karuna Rural Community Hospital.

You will appreciate that the locality is at a distance of 32 km from the Coimbatore International Airport, and can be reached via SH-64. The central railway station in Coimbatore, ie Coimbatore Junction is situated at a distance of 22 km, and is also connected via SH-64.

Alandurai is a small locality localted at a distance of 24 km from Coimbatore. Situated in the western outskirts of the city, the area is relatively undeveloped, and thus has a lot of potential for fututre growth. Also the area is placed amidst lots of greenary, which would appeal to people looking for a escape from the rush of the city.

Yes, the locality has a pretty decent network of roads, which help in connecting it to the rest of the city. Some of the major roads around are Mangalapalayam Road, NH-64 etc. The NH-64 connects the locality directly to Coimbatore, and is also a major reason for whatever growth the area has witnessed.
