Q: Hey, Look, I am planning to move to a decent locality in Kochi by the end of this year. I came across the locality of Chittethukara. Is this a good locality? Can I get some extensive review about this area?

Presently there are some good plots available in this region. The price has not become that high. For some plots, you can get it even for rs. 200 per square feet. As it nears to the town, you can see, the price is increasing and can go as high as rs. 1000 per square feet.

Exactly...You can see, the price of the houses are also quite high. As this region has more individual houses than flats or apartments, you can see that the price of an individual house is around 2600 rupees per square feet.

Yeah..now itself, this area has a good price for the apartments and all. Many apartments are also set to come up in this area very soon. The present price of the apartment or flat in this region is around rs. 3000 to rupees 4000 per square feet. On an average, the price is around rs. 3587 per square feet.

Did you know that the Kochi Metro Rail Corporation, that is going to be fully functional in a couple of years has a metro station at Chittethukara. This is included in the first phase of the metro, it will be part of the Kaloor-Kakkanad stretch. This will rapidly increase the real estate value of this region.

Yeah exactly..this is the same for the railway connectivity. Even though you will find the the Edappally railway station and the Thrippunithura railway station nearby, many long distance trains do not have hault here. But, you can easily access the Ernakulam Junction south railway station also. It is only 12 km from here.

Hey, you can see..this area also has another advantage to the working professionals from other states and all. the Cochin International Airport is also at a very reasonable distance from here. The distance between the Chittethukara and nedumbassery airport is just around 26 km.

hey, if you think of the case of the hospitals or the health infrastructure, GV ENT Clinic is located in this locality. In the nearby locality, there are some very easily accessible hospitals such as Primary Health Centre, HPC Poly Clinic, Aswini Ayur Clinic, Nethaji Institute of Nature Care, Ignatius Ayurvedic Centre, Ernakulam Medical Centre, Lisie Hospital, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences etc.

There are some very good schools here that enhances the social infrastructure in this area. Schools like Modern Public School, Home of Faith School, Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya. Nearby: Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School, Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, St. Mary's LPS, St. Charles Beromio Convent School are all easily accessible from this region.

I agree, actually, this area is also near to very good localities like Thuthiyoor, CSEZ, Divine Nagar Colony, Padamughal, Kalappurakkal, Kunnumpuram etc. One of the advantages of these localities is that facilities that are not in this locality, we can depend on nearby areas also.

This is a very good locality actually for living in. There are some very good facilities for the residential community for recreation also such as the BCG Swimming Pool, BCG Table Tennis Court, BCG Garden, Palai Garden, There are also theatres in the nearby like Cinemax, Q Cinema, PVR Cinemas, Vanitha and Vineetha Theatres, Cochin Theatre Group, etc. Also some restaurants are Al Qaema Restaurant, HongKong Restaurant, etc

I know some very good apartments in this area. There are some very good new apartments in this region as well as in the nearby region. The Sahara Grace, White Crown Apartment, Gokulam Anagha, Triarch The Hub, Infra Nouvelle, Happy Homes, BCG Residency Tower etc.

You see, in Chittethukara, you can see that there are some very good connectivity in this region. The Seaport-Airport road as well as the Infopark Expressway intersect right in the middle of this locality. Also, you can see link roads like Anjikathu road, Thuthiyoor Seaport-airport road all pass through this locality.

I think that the locality of Chittethukara is actually a very good choice. It is located near to the Chithrapuzha River and it flows towards the south of this locality. Many people of this locality have some land and many of them can also be seen involved in agriculture activities. But, overall, this is a good residential locality.
