Review of the locality of Peringala in Kochi

Q: Hi, I am David, I am from Coimbatore and I am looking to invest in a property in a developing part of Kochi. I heard that Peringala locality is a good option. What is your opinion on this?

Yeah...even the connectivity to the airport is quite good here. The Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery is the main international airport of Kerala. It is located just around 27 km away from here. You can easily reach there via the NH 47 in around 1 hour duration.

I think the connectivity is also good via railway. The Ernakulam Junction South Railway station which is the major station in Kochi is just around 18 km from here, and you can reach here easily via the Ettumanoor Ernakulam Road and the Chithrapuzha-Ponjassery Road.

If you want to take up any plot in this area, that also will be a good option. Because, Peringala is a developing area and the price of the plots and other properties are going to shoot up in next few years. The plots are cheaper as for now. But this will be profitable in some years to come. Now the price of a plot is around Rs. 2,40,555 per cent.

Yeah. Peringala does not have any big apartment project here. In my knowledge, the locality of Peringala has individual houses here. I think that the price of the individual houses in the area is around rs. 2500 to rs. 4000 per square feet. As far as I came to know, the present market is a little bit higher than the prices in the last quarter of 2014.

The commercial sector of Peringal is not that good. but there are enough stores and shops for providing everyday requirements for the residents such as Alif Packs, SG Textiles, Auto Fashion etc. Most of the residential property that you can find here are individual houses. I don't really know about apartments here.

If you are new to this area, then I would like to introduce the nearby areas to you too. The locality of Ambalamedu is surrounded by some other good localities like Ambalappady, Kunnathunad, Morakkala, Puthenkurish, Vadavukode, Infopark, Ambalamughal, as well as Irumpanam, etc.

Yeah. Moreover, if you talk about the health infrastructure or hospitals here, I would like to point out that this region is developing pretty fast. Some good hospitals like FACT Ambalamedu Hospital, VIMA Ayurvedic Hospital, Grace Dental Group of Science, Samarital Hospital, etc are some of the very good hospitals nearby. Multi speciality hospitals of the city are also easily accessible from here.

If you are planning to settle down in this area, some more things that you should be aware of is the social infrastructure here. Peringala has some good schools and colleges nearby. The ICT English Medium School is in this locality itself. Also you can also see some educational institutions like the Prabhath Residential Public School, St. Judes English Medium School, Dawn International School, Cochin Refineries school etc nearby.

As told earlier by a friend, this locality is good for those looking for long term investments. This region is witnessing a development due to the coming of many IT professionals to this area. The city is also very near to the locality. The main parts of the city like Marine Drive or Kadavanthra is just 20 km from here.

Yeah. Actually, you know, the Infopark and the Smart City is the biggest advantage of Peringala. The infopark campus is just 6 km from here. The distance to the smart city is just 5 km. You can reach these two IT hubs within just 20 minutes from here.

You know, the locality of Peringala is a very good option. The connectivity of this small town is also quite good. You can see that the Chithrapuzha Ponjassery Road passes through the centre of the locality. The paryadath Moola road and some other link roads also connect this locality to other localities.

Hey, David, This is a good move actually, Most of the city areas of Kochi are going to witness a saturation point in the coming years. Lesser known localities like Peringala is good for investment. It is actually near to the Infopark area and is witnessing a high price rise recently.
