Q: Hello, my parents are moving to Scheme No 71 area in Indore after their retirement and i wanted to ask how is the locality, in all aspects like infrastructure, prices, connectivity etc?
I am willing to buy a house in scheme no.71 near about shiv mandir, oppo. vaishnav college, on main road with possibilities of some commercial use too my budget is approx 40L.
Considering the fact that the locality is actually pretty good, you can expect the property rates to reflect that. Presently the avarage property rates in the area range between Rs 3600 per sq ft to Rs 3800 per sq ft. Reasonable enough, in my opinion.
Since the area is basically a residential locality, you will find some decent apartment projects to choose from. They include Appaji Residency, Rajat Vihar Apartments, RamChandra Palace, Krishna Kunj, Vinayak Niwas, Anubhuti Apartment, and Shruti Apartment.
Did you know that the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport is situated at a distance of around 5.5 km from the locality and can be reached via Airport Road, while the Indore Junction is located 6 km away is connected via NH-59.
Yeah, the area is very well developed and has excellent options of healthcare facilities available. Some of them are District Government Hospital, Arihant Hospital and Research Center, Mahaveer Hospital, RBL, Khandelwal Hospital and Nursing Home, and Dr Ashok Bandi Hospital.
Well lucky you, since the locality has a very comprehensive network of roads that connect it t the rest of the city. Some of the prominent roads are MOG Lines Road, Lal Bagh Road, Western Ring Road, Footi Kothi Road, and Netaji Subhash Marg.
I also purchased a house in the same area a few months ago, and so far my experience has been pretty good. The locality is situated in the central western parts of the city, and has some major localities for neighbours like Chatribagh, Loknayak Nagar, Nai Duniya, Bank Colony, and Sai Baba Colony.
