What are the details about the Upasana Nagar locality in Kochi?

Q: Hi, I need to get some information about the locality of Upasana Nagar in Kochi, as I was planning on investing in this region because of the growth I saw in Kochi. Recently, we even planned to move to Kochi for staying with family. Can you give me some details about the livability in this area?

Yeah..the prices of the houses can also revolve around such a calculation. I think that the price of a 3000 square feet house near to one main road here is around rs. 3500 per square feet. For interior places in this locality, I think, the prices can also go as low as rs. 2500 per square feet also.

I think that the price of the property in this region is quite affordable when you compare it with the nearby regions. Some of the nearby residential localities such as Thykoodam, Thrippunithura, as well as Jaya Nagar have a slightly more price. The price of plots here is around rs. 400 to rs. 1000 per square feet on an average.

Exactly, It was recently only that I came to know about the price of the apartments here. I came to know from one of my friends who bought an apartment here that, the average price of the apartments here is around 3100 rupees per square feet to rs. 3700 rupees per square feet.

While mentioning about the real estate trends in this region, I would like to say that the realty markets is growing very fast. There are many upcoming residential apartment projects planned to come here. Some of these projects are Holy Faith H2O Apartments, Lotus Kochupurakkal Gardens, Holy Faith Grand Meadows, and AC Purathil Enclave etc.

I think that the connectivity to the airport for air transport as well as the connectivity to the railway station for the railway transportion is also easily possible from here. The Cochin International Airport which is at a distance of 31 km is easily accessible via NH-47 and the seaport airport road. The Ernakulam Junction South railway station is situated just 7 km away. You can reach there through NH-47 and SA Road within 30 minutes.

Along with these developments, one more thing I would like to mention to you is about the commercial infrastructure here. Along the National Highway, you can see a small town development. There are some very good shops, hypermarkets and all, such as the Raymond Shop, New Time House, Kerala Automobiles, Indus Motors, Popular Automobiles, Alisha Bags etc.

Yeah..this is the same for the health and health care infrastructure of this area. You can see some very good hospitals and clinics in this region. Some of the good ones are Dr. Joys Hospital for women and children, Kurias Earth Multispeciality hospital, Vasan Eye Care, Mother & Child Hospital, etc. There are also some good gyms around.

If you are talking about the social and educational infrastructure of this region then I would like to say that this is quite good here. Some of the good schools and educational institutions here are Christ King Convent School, Cute Institute of Fashion Designing, St. Thomas School, Soure Missionarie Dell' Incarnazione school, Toc H Public School, Vishwapadmam Public School etc.

One thing I am sure about here is the Infrastructure. It is quite good here. You can see that the connectivity to various parts of the city is very easily possible. The Thykoodam Bridge as well as the Chembakkara Bridge provide easy accessiblity to various parts of Kochi. The Ettumanoor Ernakulam Road as well as the Salem Kochi Kanyakumari Highway is also passing near to the locality.

Upasana Nagar is a quite good residential locality which is located in the western part of Kochi near to Vytilla and Thrippunithara localities. This is largely a residential hub and you know, most of the properties here in this locality include only individual houses, villa type houses as well as plots only.

I agree that the dominant type of property is the individual houses, but you can also find some good apartments also in this region and the adjacent localities also. There are some very good apartments in this area like Star Homes, Jain Tower, Dawson Vihar, JJ Gardens Apartment, VM Crown Apartment etc.
