The previous LDF council had presented an ambitious budget during their last term, and it met with severe criticism. Hence, the present UDF council would try to avoid fancy projects like setting up IT parks and shopping malls.
These may be great but I don't think a session has taken place yet about the discussion and suggestion of things that need to be included in the budget when the allocation will be made public next week.

Hello. The corporation, with the support of Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL), has already prepared a plan for developing water transport in the city. The plan is to execute the project with German funding. This is really great. I mean the level of planning they are showcasing.
The budget is expected to come out on the 23 rd of March which is a week awat. And officials have suggested that roads are transport are the main priority this time around. We'll see how that goes.
