Q: Hey, i heard that there is going to be a survey to assess the impact of National Highway in Kochi? Is that true? Can someone please confirm the same?

The month-long survey is slated for completion on March 30 and the final report along with survey materials will be submitted to the committee in the following week.

The reports will also include details on those indirectly affected by the eviction such as the wayside traders and their employees. I think that it is a very good idea to spread the survey around like that.

Did you know that apart from verifying the survey materials, the committee has been also requested to summon some of the victims, hold a public hearing and inspect the field surveys.
