I came to know that few residents of Kurubarahalli complained of miscreants stealing sheep which are tied outside on bikes. There were also complaints about the petty shops open till late night, which has made the residents deprived of their sleep due to the noise.

You know what... in the city, the high beam of light is also a big problem in the city. you know, the high-beam lights of speeding vehicles on M.G. Road, near the Mall of Mysore which may lead to fatal accidents.

I think that there should be a subway in front of Brahmapuri Gate of the Palace to facilitate people to cross the busy road. They also complained of many defunct street lights which were helping chain snatchers and other miscreants to carry out their crimes.

I am from the Nazarbad area. I am of the opinion that decrease in night beat around the area behind Race Course has led to a rise in illegal activities since around four months.

There is one more problem of the encroachments also in Mysore. The encroachment of footpaths on the stretch of Narayana Shastri Road from Siddappa Square by mechanics forcing pedestrians to walk on the road and haphazard parking in front of Jain Bhavan.

I think that the Service Roads adjoining the Ring Road were being used by lorries and buses which should be stopped and added that the Rama Mandir junction on New Kantharaj Urs road in Krishnamurthypuram was prone for accidents and suggested installation of speed breakers.

I think the issue related to the traffic as welll as the parking problem is also affecting the residents and visitors here alike. You can see that there is a haphazard parking of vehicles near 101 Ganapathi Temple in Agrahara which was hampering the movement of traffic.

I think the recent fire at Chamundi Hills are one big problem. the frequent fire mishaps at Chamundi Hill which took tool of large area of forest, a resident suggested that a few water tanks could be built at vantage points in the hill to assist the Fire Brigade during emergencies and added that the Fire tenders were finding it very difficult to refill the empty tanks.

Oh, Mysore is actually a very good place to live. But, you know, like every other city, it also has some problems. I think some of the most recent public problems in this city was mostly the footpath encroachment, parking woes of the people, as well as the Chamundi Hills fire in the recent period.

Hey, I needed to know more in a resident centric way. Is there any other difficulties staying in Mysore?
