Major highways such as the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Sion-Panvel Expressway, NH-4B and NH-17 start from this location. NH-4, which is the Bangalore Mumbai Economic Corridor (BMEC) also passes through the locality. The Sion-Panvel Expressway also connects the locality to the Mumbai International Airport. The main roads in New Panvel are much better in comparison to those of Old Panvel.
