hey, he would not be able to offer a perspective on the Sagarmala project immediately as the details were just coming in. However, many of the decisions in the project announcement appeared to be hasty.

I came to know that Facilities like the Vallarpadam International Container Transshipment Terminal here are underutilised. Only less than 35 per cent of the facility’s capacity is used now and that other ports in the country were also in the same condition.

Yes.,.I came to know that what is needed is the full capacity utilization of the major ports in the country. the country urgently needs a port development policy in keeping with the cargo volume and profile.

Yeah..that's true., I think this project called the Sagarmala project is remained on the drawing boards for a long time. This has been unveiled at a time when the kochi port is facing financial crisis.

Exactly..in my opinion, I think that Even the timely disbursal of salaries and pension seems uncertain.
New ports and diversification of activities of major ports are not the urgent need of the hour.

Hi, even though there is many hustle and bustle about the Sagarmala Project, I think that this project is very ambitious in its nature. I don't doubt the capacity of the development prospects, but there should be amendment to these project details.
