Hi all, With Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) including khata transfer under Sakala, property owners can now obtain khata transfers online by applying for it through the Sakala service. It is very easy and stress free. It will save your money as well as your time.
But, they reject it for silly reasons and ask us to come to office to collect bribe.. i have undergone this. even after 3 months they didnt approve or provide it.
You will be liable to pay a khata registration fee amounting to 2% of the property value as mentioned in the sale deed of your property. After you pay the Khata registration fee, you will receive the notification to pay the pending property tax. This will indicate that the Khata has been registered in your name. The Khata extract will be issued in your name only after you pay the pending property tax.
Jai Sir, What's the procedure for Khata Transfer for BDA issued khatas? This is regarding a gift deed. Where to apply? Is https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/ the right channel? Will they transfer khata based on only uploaded scanned documents?
I believe 2% of property value is only for khata registration. For transfer, I have not been able to find clear information.
