Water Supply in Bengali Colony
Q: How is the water supply situation in Bengali Colony?

Latest Answer: Hey, despite construction of all the overhead tanks, there is a severe scarcity of water even in Bengali Colony. These tanks are empty or only half-full most of the times. Despite drastically increasing the monthly water tax from Rs 30 to Rs 220, the IMC has failed to live up to their claims of 24 hours water supply, for all 7 days of the week. Constructions are going on now to improve the water condition in areas like Bengali Colony. I hope that an improvement in the water condition in such areas will be effective soon
