In the peripheral area such as north western parts of the city with Hebbal Industrial Area and towards the southern part of the city,many developers are coming up with commercial office space and realizing the potential for future growth in IT and ITES sectors.
Also On the residential front, the biggest push will be on the BMIC itself. BMIC is being developed by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor. The same company is planning to develop five townships spread over 2,000 acres along the expressway.
The highest value was observed in Kuvempunagar , Jayalakshmipuram,Vijay Nagar, J.P. Nagar, Hunsur road,Nanjangud Road, Mahadevpura Road .Land value has increased not only within the city but also in the fringe areas as far as 20- 30 km of Mysore .In Gokulum, Jayalakshmi Puram, Vontikopal, Saraswathi Puram, and Siddharthanagar, Lalitha Mahal road are also areas where land value is high.
Also the central part of Mysore city Devarajurs road, Sayyaji Rao road, Ashoka road, Dhanvanthri road, which are the commercial centres of Mysore city. The rents are gradually going up in these areas.
