Hi, I am planning to book in Avalon. Below things bother me: 1) The complex is not having CC. The sales guy says it will come in by April 2014. Few buildings of Vasant Lawns (built by Sheth) are not having OC till now. 2) The component "C", which is the "Other charges", is too high, close to 8 lacs. None of the projects in thane are exceeding 3 to 4 lacs. 3) Parking needs to be paid in Cash and not in cheque.
Can anyone share his views / experiences? Is it safe?
As far my knowledge is concerned there is no new developments taking place right now in this locality. But I have heard that there is going to be 6 lane connectivity from this area towards Borivali and beyond. There is also a proposal to extend the metro rail linking Ghatkopar to Mulund till Thane in near future which of course will take some years.
Heard that they are charging Rs 1.70 crore for 3 BHK in Sheth Avalon. Had a chat with one of the executive and mentioned that the prices are fixed and are not negotiable.
Thanks Sunil for the updates provided. Will somebody let me know how much they are charging for 3 BHK in Sheth Avalon and are the prices negotiable by any means since I want to buy a property here. Your reply will be a lot of help to me.
Glad to know that you are keen on investing in a property in Sheth Avalon. The project is coming up very near to Eastern Express Highway which is one of the major landmark in this locality and also serves as a major connectivity. Sheth Avalon is just 4 kms from Thane station and is close to some good schools, major hospitals, hotels, eating joints, malls and movie theaters. The builder is offering good amenities like swimming pool, RWH, club house, 24/7 power backup, high security and many more. Heard that they are quoting Rs. 10350 per sqft.
Can anybody discuss where the project is coming up and the amenities offered by the builder. What is the rate they are quoting per sqft as I am keen on buying a property in this project
Seems to be you are very keen about this project. Heard that they have commenced the work for Block 1 and will take about 3 years time to complete the entire project. So most probably possession will take place around Dec 2017.
Hope that the project gets completed on schedule time as I am also looking to buy a flat at Sheth Avalon so that i can proudly say that I owe a flat at Sheth Avalon.
