Hey, there are more slabs of energy usage tariffs for domestic houses in Indore –
4th Slab: 101-300 units: fixed charge Rs 75 for each 0.5 KW; Rs 4.80/unit
5th Slab: 301-500 units: fixed charge Rs 80 for each 0.5 KW; Rs 5.20/unit
6th Slab: Above 501 units: fixed charge Rs 85 for each 0.5 KW; Rs 5.55/unit
The minimum charge for the connection is Rs 60. If you have a metered connection, then you can subscribe to any one of these 6 slabs of authorized energy consumption slabs.

Electricity bill in Indore is calculated according to different slabs of electricity usage. To find out which slab you belong to, you need to have a metered connection in your house.
The first slab is 0-30 units of electricity, for which there a minimum charge of Rs 40, just the tariff rate of Rs 2.90 per unit of electricity use.
The second slab is 31-50 units of electricity, for which there is a fixed charge of Rs 40 and a tariff of Rs 3.40 per unit of electricity use.
The third slab is from 51 to 100 units of electricity use, for which there is a fixed charge of Rs 65 and a tariff rate of Rs 3.85/unit

The electricity bill will depend on how much unit of electricity you use up in a month. For usage over 30 units, factors like rural or urban property come in to play. For up to 30 units of electricity usage, the charge is 290 paise/unit in domestic households. For users consuming more than 30 units, there is a minimum monthly charge of Rs 40 for up to 50 units of usage and Rs 65 for usage of 51 to 100 units of electricity in a month.
