Locality Review of Selvapuram

Q: Hey, I’m moving to Coimbatore this September. Is the locality of Selvapuram good for renting a 1/2BHK apartment? Can anyone tell me the average square foot price rate of the apartments in this area?

the connectivity to this place is also quite good. You can reach the main city within 10 to 15 minutes. The Ramamurthy Road runs adjacent to this city. There is one college Sri Sowdeswari Vidyalaya near to the locality also. There is Milton Matric School and Balavikash School, etc.

Selvapuram is a nice locality in my opinion. this is primarily a residential locality. but, you can see some commercial spaces here like the muthoottu mini. There is a theatre here named the Shivalaya Theatre. For educational institution, you can find SMS college of Arts and Science.

Hey, the average rent here in Selvapuram is around Rs. 7-8/square foot. The available 2BHK apartments are quite big, with an area of around 1000 square feet.
Selvapuram does not have that many properties at the moment, so you might want to try out other areas like R.S. Puram, Saravanampatti and Peelamedu.

Yeah, Selvapuram is a good option to rent a 2BHK apartment. The average rent is not that much, just Rs 8/sq. ft. so you can get a nice 2BHK of built-up area of 800 square feet for Rs. 5600 only. If you are going to be sharing the apartment with someone, then once you split the rent, your share will be only Rs. 2300, which is quite cheap.

Hey, good call on picking Selvapuram in Coimbatore. It is quite a decent locality with all necessary amenities of everyday life available easily. There are plenty of shopping centers, stores and banks in this locality and you will find almost everything you need here.
The average square foot price of the apartments around here is Rs.7/sq. ft. the flats available are mostly 2BHK, the 1BHKs are a bit less easily available, as there aren’t that many of them.
