Infrastructure in Kochi Marine Drive

Q: Hi Im from Mysore. I've been interested in Kochi real estate for some time now, always wanted to invest in some beachfront properties, but Mumbai, Chennai etc, are too much out of my budget. Heard quite a lot about Marine Drive in Kochi. How's it guys? I know its beautiful, but infrastructure-wise? Good to invest? And am I looking at good capital appreciation about 10 years down the line?

But I dont think you need to worry, coz the marine drive market is only going to appreciated because of its existing beautiful location. I think if the supply goes down, then the demand for the apartments here in the Phase of the MArine Drive development program will only go up.

Yeah, even I heard that news. And I think the KCZMA have the uperhand on this, beacuase the state is suddenly putting a lot of importance on environmental concerns.

Guys, but I dont think all is completely well at the Marine Drive. So the GCDA want it for further urban development, but the Kerala coastal zone management authority are opposing that, becuase they dont want the trademark Kerala backwaters to be reclaimed any further.

Okay it is NRI season at Kochi's MArine Drive right now. Not many apartments are left right now, and the demand for them is high. Plus the upcoming Tunnel Marine Aquarium and Entertainment park planned here is going to be a major tourist spot I think.

I personally think its a good call. I mean if you're interested in living by the beach then what other place beeter for that than God's own country? I personally feel that Mumbai market is too saturated right now, and Chennai definitely has other issues.
