there is one more reason for this issue, ok...this is the railway under bridge work. But, i think this will be resolved through negotiations between the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Railway authorities. But, i think fund is also another issue. in 2013, the MUDA proposed to impose toll on the roads as well as charge extra cess from the people who owned land by the roadside. this could tackle the problem of lack of fund.

in fact, the work for the 32 km stretch was divided into four packages. The fourth package of Mysore-Bangalore road jn and the Bannur road jn are almost complete. the first package has around 10-20 percent pending works. see, the major delay is in the second package, ie, just 53% of the work is only complete.

Hey there, Mysore Outer Ring Road project actually aims at diverting the traffic from the city area. It means that the vehicles that are crossing the city don't have to enter the city. this helps to minimize the congestion in the city. this project has been facing certain problems recently, i think.

for you information, the project was implemented 15 years earlier to maintain the city's brand as a planned city. ya, it has been facing some serious issues lately. the authorities used the funds that was provided by the Asian Development to build a two-lane in the first phase. But, the project was planned to be a six-lane carriageway. Now, the upgradation to the 6 lane is taking more time.

ya..ya...but, still there are certain other problems too. there was a problem with land acquisition earlier on in the Nanjangud Road junction and Bannur Road Junction. This stretch is about 9.3 kilometers. Moreover, the work for the rest of the stretch was undertaken by JnNURM. But, due to the contractors' fault and laxity, the work is not yet finished.
