Q: hai everyone, i need some information about Vedapatti locality in Coimbatore. I am interested in real estate and thought i could buy some property there. But, first i need to know about the locality. Can anyone give some honest reviews of this place? :) thank you guys..

oh, but the issues that exist there are unbearable sometime. for just investing, the place is good, but, if you are planning to move in here, then beware of dogs, haha..seriously, the stray dogs have created a menace here. You cant travel in a bike after 9 pm or else there is a possibility of stray dog attack in the locality. moreover, in some parts of Vedapatti, there is some disgusting stinky foam, especially near the sundapalayam road.

Hey, if we talk about real estate of this place, it is quite interesting. You can get the apartments, individual houses and plots at a very reasonable rate. As per quarter 2 of 2013 statistics , for apartments, the per square feet price is just 2600 rs. For individual houses the price is 1538 rs. per square feet and for plots it is 881 rs. per square feet.

Friends, there are some good apartments in Vedapatti. Many apartments are ready-to-move in, while some are upcoming as well as in different phases of construction. Builders like Town & City Developers as well as Shobha developers have properties in Vedapatti. Some upcoming luxury projects are Town & City Garden City, Shobha Hillview, Pricol Silver Springs.

Hey, though Vedapatti is located very near to Coimbatore City, it has an average rate of investment only. Now, more people are investing in apartments there than individual houses. This is because, with various IT centres sprawling throughout coimbatore, various IT personnels started coming to the city and the demand for apartments increased. Now, the area is mostly occupied by IT personnels as well as job seekers.

ya, now the land in this area is gaining price rapidly. you can get all the amenities like water, electricity and market availability in Vedapatti. Water is provided by the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation. Almost 36.6 % of Vedapatti comprises of houses. Apartments has occupied 11.6%. You can find that 17.9% of the properties are Villas. A major portion of the properties are plots itself making up to 33.9%. I really feel that this is a good place to invest.

Definitely, the area also has some facilities like schools, colleges and hospitals. PSG high school, Veerakeralam School, Pongaliyur Primary School, Bharatiya Vidya bhavan, Delhi Public School, etc are some of the schools. Government College of Technology and Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Sciences is also located not very far from this place. Hospitals that come in this locality include PSG rural health centre, Vallalar Hospital etc.

Hey, Vedapatti is a suburb of Coimbatore city that was later added to the Corporation limits. It is a really fast growing residential area located in the western part of Coimbatore city near Pongaliyur and Vadavalli. The area was an agricultural area before the coming of this IT projects in Coimbatore. But, later, it became a residential area.

The area has good connectivity to various places. The state highway 164 passes through Vedapatti. The bus service is good in this place. Coimbatore airport is 19.6 km away from Vedapatti. The Coimbatore Railway station is at a distance of 9.2 km.
