Review of Vytilla locality in Kochi

Q: Hi guys, I will be buying a house in Kochi soon, to move in with my whole family. Im checking out different localities as of now. Do you think Vytilla will be a good place for a family home? or is too commercial? I just wanna have a general sense of the place, so I can make the decision. Please help me out :)

Hospitals also here, Welcare Hospital, Mother & Child Hospital, Ranjini Eye Hospital, just few names. A Vasan Eye Care centre is also here. For general grocery shopping the Big Souk supermarket is there, or the Bigmart right in front of the Mobility Hub.

There are a bunch of popular hotels and restaurants here. Pizza Hut, Mainland China, Subway, these are just some of the food chains present here. The thing about Vytilla is that the residents have a lot of option for their daily shopping needs as well as for entertainment purposes.

If you're moving here, then I must tell you about the Kundanoor-Edapally stretch of the NH 47. Its a popular destination that even has that Gold Souk mall. I wont say Vytilla is very commercial, this much i think every residential place needs. Its more suited to the needs of a young family.

Hey I have an idea of the price rates here. The apartments are on the costlier side of the market. the average rate is Rs 4300 per square foot. Independent houses are little pricier, around Rs 4600 per square foot.

Other than the roads, the Vytilla mobility hub is obviously here. Really helpful for the transportation in the place. Its basically a transportation hub, so far just few parts of it has been finished, but once completed you'll be able to avail of all the modes of public transportation from here, starting from metro to inter city buses, to even state buses.

Also dont forget the Vytilla-Pettah road. It connects these two places. Actually the Aroor-Edapally stretch of the NH47 has basically become the very busy Vytilla bypass. In fact now there are plans to construct another bypass road, because this one gets so congested

Oh yeah, lets see, there is the Seaport-Airport Road, and then of course the Thammanam Road. Both improtant connectors within Kochi. Not to forget the national highway 47 that passes through here. In fact its because of all these roads, that Vytilla has become such a busy part of Kochi.

Vytilla is quite good. Might be a bit too crowded and commercial for a family home though, but otherwise there are enough facilities here, that can actually prove beneficial to a family guy like yourself. Connectivity is very good, since all the major Kochi roads pass through here.
