Not always, i guess. in an area like kochi, there are people who come for work and all, and are not likely to live in one place. They prefer renting a regular apartment and all. With the coming of many smart homes and other smart features...upmarket houses are desired nowadays even by middle class people. In Kochi, I think, now people are moving on from individual houses and regular apartments more and more to luxury apartments.

hmm, one reason why many people in Kochi now are turning to luxury homes is that there is less hassle of maintenance. There are also many other facilities related to luxury like a swimming pool, better security, gated premises, etc. But, some other prefer to live in individual houses to keep their privacy as well as to have their own rooms without having the neighbours complaining.

I can point out some luxury apartments that have very good facilities like Unitac Sanam, SFS Boulevard, Purva Grandbay, Amadeus Villa, Evalia, Eco Paradise, SFS Center Cove, Oxonia Rivera mansion, Oceanus Maple, etc in Kochi.

Hey yes...I think that luxury apartments in Kochi can start from somewhere between 80 lakhs and above. Mid segment apartments can be from 40 lakhs to 80 lakhs. and affordable apartments have price from 15 lakhs to 40 lakh rupees.
