Q: Hey there, I and my partner are planning to move to a locality in Kochi. Most probably it would be in the Koovappady region. Is it a good region to live? What advice would you give for this localities guys?
yeah..most of the property in this area are individual houses. For an individual house, you can see that the price is like 2000 rupees or so for a square feet land. The plots are also available in this area. The price is around rs. 300 for a square feet plot.
Hi there, I need to get some information about the price of apartments and all in this region. The price of the apartment in this region can be as high as 3500 per square feet. The price has gone up to 15%. But, you might not find many apartments here, though.
Hey, one thing in that can be seen as a factor for development in this region is the presence of the Cochin International Airport in near to this region. Only 13 kilometres from this region, you can find the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery.
Hey, i think that in every sense the connectivity is very good in this region. You can even find a railway station near to this area. The Neduvannoor railway gate is just 18 km from here. The Ernakulam junction railway station is at a distance of 41 km and is the major railway station near to this region.
This area is also well known for some of the temples and churches in this area. Aimury Siva Temple, cheranalloor shiva temple, ganapathy temple, thottuva sri dhanwanthari temple, as well as the Our Lady of Perpetual help church is in this area.
You know, there are some very good places of interest in and near to Koovappady. This place is very near to the Kodanadu elephant training centre. other places of interest near to koovapady include kalady which is the birthplace of Shankaracharya, and Malayattoor as well.
I can say some general things about the area of Koovappady as it is a nearby area to Aimury where I stayed previously. Many people in the Koovappady region are into farming, and many have their own fields. Lots of greenery can be seen in this area. It is very near to the Periyar river and there are some marshy lands towards the periyar side. Expect a semi urban locality when you reach there.
In koovappady, the health infrastructure is also quite average. There are just two healthcare institutions here. One is the Ravishankar Doctor clinic and the other one is the Saranya clinic. For serious health issues, some good hospitals like Lakshmi hospital, Government General Hospital, MV Joseph Memorial Hospital, SN Mission hospital, San Joe Hospital etc in Perumbavoor is easily accessible from here.
Koovappady region has a decent residential settlement here. and there are some good schools in this locality that the residents send their children to. Some of these schools inside and very near to the locality are Government Higher Secondary School, Koovappady, Ganapathi Vilasam School, Mary Matha School, Upper Primary School, GHSS Akanad, St. Theresa's school, MET Public School etc.
Exactly, the proximity to Perumbavoor is one of the main reasons that this locality has developed into a very good residential area. There, you can see a good percentage of residential culture. But, most of the property that you can see in this area are individual houses as well as posh villas and all. No apartments are there in my knowledge.
True...even the commercial aspect of this area is not that good. There are no big shops or malls in this region. You have to go to the town area of perumbavoor for such facilities, but then,, all the basic necessities of the residents of this region are provided by many small provision stores here.
Hey, first of all, i like to say that this region is located very very near to the Perumbavoor municipal area, you know. This makes it a very demanding place. The other localities near to this area are Aimury, Akanad, Kurichilakodu, Cheranalloor, Onampilly, Chelamattam, Vallom etc.
Koovappady is actually a locality that is located in the far eastern side of Kochi. It is actually near to the Main Central Road as by saying that I also mean that the connectivity is a high point in this part of Kochi. There are other roads that passes straight through the middle of the locality like the Vallom-Kodanad Road and the Pooppani Road which further eases our travel to various places in the city, no..
