IDA's financial status in Indore

One thing I realized from the experience of one of my friend is that the IDA has failed to get good response from buyers for its plots and it has to give large chuck of land to industry on state government`s request, for which IDA has yet not got the compensation.

For this IDA had formed two teams, which will go door-to-door to collect lease rent. I got to know that there are around 1,300 big defaulters with pending lease rent of Rs 25,000 and more and the team will first target these big defaulters.

I came to know that recently the CEO of the IDA, Deepak Singh told the newspapers that the authority will soon start a drive to collect lease rent from March 9 and it will continue till March 31.

I think that for the past several years several plots owners have not paid their lease rent and IDA will be richer by Rs 12 crore if it manages to collect all pending lease rent dues.

Indore Development Authority (IDA) is mulling to start a drive to collect lease rent to end the financial year on a positive note. IDA develops land and sells plots on lease and plot owners have to pay lease rent.

Recently only there was a news about the financial status of the Indore Development Authority. It said that the IDA is struggling with its finances due to poor interest shown by people in its projects. I think this has really affected the IDA in this year.
