Exactly, that is true. Only the I-buses will be allowed to ply on the 11.5-km long BRT corridor in Indore from Sunday. I got to know that penal action will be taken if any vehicle including cars enter the corridor.
Yeah. I have been following the proceedings very carefully. and there were suggestions to make BRTS corridor exclusive for ibus and ban entry of other four-wheelers inside the corridor. In October 2014, Indore bench of MPHC gave a split verdict on allowing four-wheelers including cars and SUVs inside BRTS corridor and matter was referred to principal bench of MPHC.
Recently, I came to know that the indore bench of Madhya Pradesh high court passed an order which made the BRTS corridor exclusive for ibus to ban entry of four-wheelers inside the dedicated corridor.

Yeah..this is because, ever since railing installation started on the AB Road and the widening of the AB road to six-lane as part of BRTS project in 2012, there has been a tremendous traffic jams on this road. This was due to the bottle necks had become a regular phenomenon.
I think that the BRTS corridor is a good platform dedicated to the i-bus. It was intended to become a solution to public transport problems of the people. But now, it has become a boon to the administrative officers but a headache to the denizens.
