Indore administration to enforce colonies to get sewage treatment plants

Here is more about this move. As per the new guidelines, any township will get an approval in less than 60 days, provided that they have a sewage plant mentioned in the plan, this could actually persuade the builders to go for it.

This should be an example to the metropolitan cities which has issues like this making the big news. I mean with simple nfrastructure, such huge controversies can be stopped an I believe Indore has just stepped up the race.

That is not just it. They are very clear about doing this. Serious, too. They are ready to offer 25% of mortgage for plots or flats in the upcoming colonies to make sure that a plant be installed in the place.

Yes. I agree, This is a good move. Now that will solve the sewage issue which is becoming a major ssue in all the cities across India. Basically, any township which is built in an area of 2 hectares or more must have a sewage treatment plant.

Yes. I heard about this one too. This is some great development and I think all the cities must follow suite with this. What the administration did was make it mandatory or compulsory for new colonies on large amount of land to get a sewage treatment plan.
