They actually discussed about expediting the work of metro stations and depot at Muttom. It was also decided to organise project steering committee meetings more frequently to monitor the works closely and also to keep the communication line open.

Supposedly, the firm will also increase the number of shutters that used for concreting. worth noticing that there were several concerns about the pace of metro’s civil works due to problems with getting the right resources and materials that were required for the process.

The areas that this work force will cover will be from the Aluva- Palarivattom corridor after the decision was taken of Thursday in Kochi. So expect the work to make it through the odds and be done on schedule.

This decision was taken during a high level meeting of the concerned parties right from the DMRC to the Land T and other key officials who all unanimously agreed that this is the need of the hour if they are to make it better.

Oh. That is a good move. Like the current strength of the work force is some ehwere near 3000 and 50 % more workers will definitely add some much needed fresh legs and the work can pick up faster from here on out.

Exactly. But they are not keeping quite about it. DMRC with the help of the civil contractorrs the L and T have decided to increase the strength of the work force by at least 1500 right now to get the work done according to the schedule.

Yes. It is true that the metro work is very far away from the actual schedule. And the handlers of this project the DMRC have been getting a lot of criticisms due to this as the project is expected to be completed by December and it does not look like it will be done.
